The Bowsaw Chair by Chris Schwartz combines leathercraft and fine woodworking to create a striking and portable piece that will last for decades. In this class students will craft their own reproduction from plans published in the August 2018 edition of Popular Woodworking. Students will use a lathe, router table, and hand tools, in a 4-session course and take home a work of functional art and design.
Classes will run for four sessions on the dates below from 6-9pm. Students should be of an intermediate skill level, and be able to do basic woodworking on their own. Class minimum of three students. If class minimum not met, student will be rescheduled or receive a full refund.
