On the first day, students will focus on fleshing out sketches–taking a rough idea and drawing it in perspective from different angles. By the end of the day, students will have a project plan with rough dimensions. On the second day, students will take their drawings and re-create them to-scale using an architect’s rule. These technical drawings can then be used to create a cut-list to order wood for their project.
Please bring a sketchbook. All other supplies are provided in this class, with a kit to take home that includes:
A drafting triangle
An architect's triangle rule
A T-square
A roll of tracing paper
A lead holder
An eraser
Masking tape
Class is two 2.5-hour sessions. No experience required. Class minimum of three students. If class minimum is not met, students will have the opportunity to reschedule or receive a full refund.
