Fine woodworking with hand tools, while challenging, is also rewarding and satisfying. In this class, students will learn how to use marking tools, chisels, a mallet, and a dovetail saw to make a set of dovetails and pins on poplar practice boards. We will also develop chisel-sharpening skills to keep a keen edge as the work progresses. At the end of this class you will have the skills necessary to implement this beautiful, traditional form of joinery in all of your woodworking projects!
Class consists of two 3-hour sessions on Wed, June 10th 5pm - 8pm & Sat, June 13th 2pm - 5pm
