Fridays, April 24th - May 29th | 6 pm - 9 pm
Build your own hardwood flat bow! Students will begin by selecting their wood, either red oak, maple, or hickory. Then, students will learn how to safely use various bow-making tools: drawknives, planes, saws, etc to craft their bow. The instructor will go over the anatomy of a bow, as well as best practices for use and maintenance. The bow will be finished with a simple jute bowstring and a natural oil, ready to use for hunting or sport.
The class is six sessions in length, occurring on Fridays between 6 pm - 9 pm on April 24th, May 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.
No experience required. Minimum class size of three students, maximum of 6. Should the minimum not be met, students will have the opportunity to reschedule or receive a full refund.
