In this class, students will delve into the world of joinery, exploring 5 commonly used joints in furniture making: miters, bridal, half-laps, kriegs, and dowels. This class will combine shop machine, power tool, and hand-tool use.
Introduction to Woodworking is a required prerequisite to taking this class. We also recommend taking Hand-Tools 101: Making Dovetails if you have little or no prior hand-tool experience.
This is a two-session class, with classes running for 3 hours from 6pm - 9pm on Wednesdays, May 20th & 27th. Please plan to attend both sessions.
Class minimum of 2 students, maximum of 4. If the class minimum is not met, students may be rescheduled or receive a full refund.
