In this beginner-friendly class, students will gain shop experience while crafting a unique Edison-bulb lamp with a wooden base. Students will learn how to safely and confidently use the core tools in the shop, including the jointer, planer, cross-cut miter saw, table saw, and sanding/finishing equipment. While we recommend taking the Introduction to Woodworking class to have some hands-on experience, it is not necessary.
The class is 2 sessions from 6 pm - 9 pm, offered Mon, May 18th & Wed, May 20th. Plan to attend both sessions to complete your lamp.
Minimum class size of 2 students, a maximum of 6. Should the minimum not be met, students will have the opportunity to reschedule or receive a full refund.
